One more meeting of the Polonnaruwa District Coordinating Committee for Prevention of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the District Secretariat at Polonnaruwa on Thursday (13), presided by the Governor of the North Central Province Mr Maheepala Herath.
Polonnaruwa District Member of Parliament Mr Amarakeerthi Athukorala, District Secretary Polonnaruwa Mr W.A Dharmasiri, District Coordinating Officer Polonnaruwa, Commander Security Forces - East Major General Channa Weerasuriya and a few others also took part in the conference.
During the conference, all stakeholders shared their views regarding the current status following the ban on travel movements within the district and across regions and further measures to be taken in Polonnaruwa district to curb the sudden spread of the pandemic.
