FMA-East Troops Clean Devalaya Premises

Troops of the Forward Maintenance Area - East (FMA-E) recently conducted a 'Shramadana' campaign around the Minneriya Mahasen Devalaya premises and the tank bund at Minneriya.

During the project, troops cleaned up the area and collected a large heap of garbage, left behind largely by pilgrims. Hingurakgoda Pradeshiya Sabha employees also joined hands with the troops.

The campaign was conducted on the instructions of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army after a request to that effect has been made by the Chieftain, (Nilame) of the Devalaya.
