Just hours after taking reins of the 11 Division in Kundasale, Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, General Officer Commanding 11 Division undertook a few inspection visits to Intermediate Care Centres (ICCs) at Kahagolla and Bindunuwewa and proposed ICCs at SLTB Bus Depot and the proposed Quarantine Centre at Badulla Disaster Management Centre Building in Wewassa, Badulla on Friday (7).
Together with Brigadier Anura Dissanayake, Commander 112 Brigade, he closely inspected facilities available in those places as well as medical and other equipment available at those places. He also discussed administrative matters and other practical aspects with those in charge of those places during his stay.
A few Senior Officers were also associated with the visit to those locations.
