Foundation Stone Laid for Officers' Mess at Diyatalawa

Major General Ranjan Lamahewage, Commander Security Forces-Central was invited on Wednesday (5) to lay the foundation stone for construction of the new Officers' Mess building at Diyatalawa Army Base Hospital (ABH) complex.

Amid 'Seth Pirith' chanting, he laid the corner-stone and signaled the inauguration of the project at the auspicious minute. On arrival, he was received by the Commanding Officer at the ABH at the entrance to the ABH in Diyatalawa. A Guard Turnout greeted the visiting Central Commander.

Senior Army Officers and soldiers at ABH Diyatalawa took part in the event adhering health guidelines.
