Troops Plant 200 Fruit Saplings inside their Camp Compound

Planting of 200 fruit saplings of Mango, Lime, Cashew and Guava as one more project that goes in parallel with the 'Thuru Mithuru - Nawa Ratak' cultivation drive of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army got underway inside the 652 Brigade camp premises in Naddankandal on Wednesday (5).

Troops of the 652 Brigade under the 65 Division planted those saplings amidst blessings of the Commander, Security Forces-Wanni, and the General Officer Commanding of the 65 Division.

Brigadier Udaya Herath, Commander 652 Brigade, all Officers and Other Ranks in the Brigade took part in the planting drive.
