On an initiative taken by Brigadier D. Sooriyabandara, General Officer Commanding 59 Division, a distribution of school items took place Kokilai Sinhala School, Tamil School Udappukulam and Roman Catholic School Alampil on Tuesday (30).
Gift parcels included library books and grade five scholarship past paper sets and troops conducted a thorough cleaning of the school premises and attended to repairs, too.
