New SLLI Colonel of the Regiment Visits His Battalions

Major General Wasantha Abrew, the newly-appointed Colonel of the Regiment made formal visits to the 4, 5 (volunteer), 24 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment camps on Friday (4) and 10, 19, 20, 17 (V) SLLI Battalions on Saturday (5).

During these visits, respective Commanding Officers warmly welcomed the visiting Colonel of the Regiment and awarded Guard Turnouts before briefings were presented.

Afterwards, the visiting Colonel of the Regiment addressed the troops and instructed them to lead their career with best of discipline and professionalism.
