The Director General Training Major General Nishantha Herath on Saturday (28) made a visit to the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineers (SLSME) at Embilipitiya in order to learn more about ongoing training modules and courses, being conducted by the SLSME and review Block Syllabuses, progressive instructions and assess Instructor Notes, available at the SLSME.
He was greeted to a drive-past Guard Turnout before he was received by Colonel Chandana Wickramanayake, Commandant SLSME. His visit being himself a past Officer Instructor Training and the Chief Instructor at the SLSME some time back assumed more significance to All Ranks in the SLSME since he is currently holding the office of Director General, Training of the SL Army. He also enlightened the Officers on how training should be conducted, based on training principles and training objectives, specific to the Army.
He also addressed all Officers and Other Ranks, instructors and explained them the value of being a good instructor and qualities of an instructor. The Commandant of SLSME presented a memento to him and thanked him for his inputs. Nike Sneakers | UK Trainer News & Releases
