Alert troops of the 15 (V) Gemunu Watch of the 54 Division and 542 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on 11 November 2020 at the Kunchi Kula Roadblock together with Policemen nabbed 2 suspects with 5.7 kg of Kerala Ganja (cannabis) in a car.
Cannabis and those suspects with the vehicle were taken into custody and handed over to the Madhu Police station for further investigations and onward actions.
To be in line with the Presidential directive, efforts are made to eradicate the drug menace from the country.
