A technical training course to train wounded War Heroes as technicians for Prosthetic Limbs got underway during 20 July- 02 November at the Ranaviru Sevana Prosthetic workshop in Ragama.
A group of 11 War Heroes wounded during humanitarian operations drawn from different Regiments underwent this training, given largely by civil sector experts and Army technicians.
The closing ceremony of the programme was held on Thursday (5) with the participation of Brigadier Shiran Abeysekara, Director Rehabilitation.
Brigadier Thushan Senarathna, Commandant Rana Viru Sevana Ragama, Colonel Bandula Bandara, Deputy Commandant Ranaviru Sevana Ragama, Dr Lilani Panangala, Rehabiliation and Hematologist, few officers and other ranks attended the occasion.
