Four more senior Brigadiers of the Army on the recommendation of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army and the Ministry of Defence have been promoted to the rank of Major General by HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces.
