In parallel with the ongoing island-wide Dengue prevention campaign, troops of the 11 Division of the Security Force HQ-Central carried out a cleaning campaign on Thursday (27) in the general township area of Kandy.
This event was conducted to ensure the people of the area would not fall prey to Dengue virus with the onset of rains.
General Officer Commanding, 11 Division, Major General Jaliya Senarathna and Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central closely coordinated the community project.
