23rd anniversary of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) commemorated its belated anniversary on Friday (21) which was scheduled to be held on 6th June 2020 on the day of the anniversary.
The 23rd anniversary celebration however commenced with religious blessings on 21st August 2020 and the military formalities included presentation of a salute to the Commanding Officer, Colonel Ravindra Abeysinghe in a Guard Turnout at the camp premises. An all rank tea table culminated the day’s proceedings.
