Security Network around Transmission Tower Reviewed & Reinforced

In the aftermath of several rounds of new modules of training, security network for the multi-functional transmission tower and its centre in Kokavil was reinforced and re-adjusted on a suggestion made by Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN) after his recent official visit to the complex.

The General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Senarath Yapa on the instructions of Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi at first organized a one-week long training programme to enhance the combat readiness of 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps troops in order to readjust the security.

The training programmes were conducted at 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps Headquarters with lectures and practical assistance, extended by 3 Gajaba Regiment troops.
