17 Corps of Engineer Service (CES) Regiment troops of the Security Force HQ – Central (SFHQ-Cen) fulfilling a long-awaited need of the Diyatalawa Army Base Hospital erected a new addition, enabling it to continue its card section more effectively and Pulheems unit that selects physical, mental and general suitability for soldiering.
On Tuesday (17), the new construction, built with Army funds was opened to the soldiers by Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces-Central as the Chief Guest for the occasion at the invitation of the Officer Commanding, Army Base Hospital, Major L.D Rathnaweera.
