11 Field Engineers,1 Sri Lanka National Guard and Corps of Engineer Service troops a few days ago completed the construction work at Dummalasooriya J.R Jayawardene Central College as instructed by HE the President to Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army a few weeks ago when the President arrived at the school.
Those troops as requested put up a new pavilion, stairway, and a perimeter sidewall around the playground within a matter of few days to the satisfaction of school authorities, children and parents.
