271 individuals after completion of the quarantine process at Diyagama (113), Club Hotel Dolphin (25), Citrus Waskaduwa (67), SLAGSC (61) and Kahagolla (05) Quarantine Centres have left for their homes by today (12) after the conduct of PCR tests and with Quarantine Certificates, a Media Release issued this evening (12) by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) at Rajagiriya stated.
A total of 13,127 quarantined individuals from tri service-managed QCs left for their homes on Friday (12).
As of now, 4,603 persons are still in quarantine in 44 island-wide QCs, run by tri services.
By this evening (12), no COVID-19 positive cases were reported. Similarly, 35 more heroic sailors recovered and left hospitals today.
As of now, heroic sailors of the Navy confirmed positive to the COVID-19 virus stand at 874 in total. Of them, 682 after full recovery and PCR tests were discharged from hospitals.
