Indian Officers Visiting ARTRAC Welcomed

Major General Laksiri Waduge, Commander, Security Forces - Central on behalf of Major General Suraj Bangsajayah, Commandant Army Training and Command (ARTRAC), Director General General Staff extended a warm reception to a two-member delegation of Senior Indian Army Officers when they arrived at the Security Force Headquarters - Central on Thursday (5) to join consultations at the ARTRAC.

Brigadier Arun Kumar Bharadwaj and Colonel Mudit Mahajan of the Indian Army were here to assist related documentation and formulation of the Army doctrine at the invitation of the Sri Lanka Army’s Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

During the brief and cordial reception, Major General Waduge and visiting Senior Indian Officers exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
