Facility Organized in Mullaittivu to Watch Solar Eclipse

Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT) Thursday (26) morning facilitated interested sections in the civil society to view the rare annular solar eclipse as the Sun undergoes the maximum eclipse in Mullaittivu area by putting up an observation point for sky-watchers.

University students, school students and civilians used the safe facility to see this solar eclipse, indeed a lifetime experience. At the same location, experts in the Colombo Planetarium educated the observers on the rare phenomenon giving scientific explanations to the visitors.
