231 Brigade’s New Commander Assumes Office

Colonel P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W Pallekumbura of Gajaba Regiment assumed duties as the 10th Brigade Commander in the 231 Brigade on Monday (2) at the Brigade Headquarters in Kallady.

To mark the memorable event, the new Brigade Commander planted a sapling in the Brigade Headquarters premises and signed a formal document to signify the acceptance of the new office. An All Rank tea table culminated the simple ceremony.
