To coincide with the 8th anniversary of the 574 Brigade of the 57 Division, troops of the 574 Brigade visited Joy Children’s Home at Manikkamkulam Grama Niladiri division on Monday (21) and gave away gift parcels and school accessories to them after entertaining them to a hearty lunch.
Troops, together with the 574 Brigade Commander, its Civil Affairs Officer and Officers on the guidelines given by Major General B.P.S de Silva, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division donated those incentives living in the orphanage. Troops voluntarily bought those incentives for children with their own money.
