62 Division Welcomes Its Newly-Promoted Major General Jayasinghe

Troops of the 62 Division in a splendid felicitation ceremony rich with military formalities welcomed their newly-promoted General Officer Commanding Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe when he arrived there on Tuesday (3).

The newly-promoted General Officer Commanding was offered a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour at the Headquarters premises of the 62 Division as a formality. Later on, he addressed a cross-section of the troops under his Division and attended an all rank tea.
