Taking another step forward to enhance the welfare of people living in Wanni region, the General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General H.P Senavirathne directed his troops to organize a medical camp to facilitate hundreds of people living in Bogaswewa, Nandimitragama and Selalihinigama villages.
The medical clinic was sponsored by 'Jayagrahanaya' Foundation of Dr Anula Wijesundara.
Over 120 villagers were treated through this medical campaign. As additional welfare, members of Jayagrahanaya donated a set of essential items such as Water Pumps, Sewing machines and bicycles to enhance the livelihood of those deprived villagers.
Senior Officers representing the Headquarters 56 Division and its under command formations, representatives of some government institutions, members of 'Jayagrahanaya' Foundation - Colombo and a large number of villagers in Bogaswewa, Nandimitragama and Selalihinigama areas were present at the occasion. jordan Sneakers | Nike for Men
