New EME Director Assumes Office

Brigadier V Weerakkody assumes office as new Director of Directorate of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on Thursday (13) with religious observances.

He succeeded Major General M.A.A.D Sirinaga.

Prior to this appointment he has held the appointment of Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regimental Centre.
