Commander Joins New Year Celebrations in 3 SF

Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army who was in Mullaittivu a few days ago had the chance of participating in the 3 Special Forces (SF) - organized Sinhala and Hindu New Year at its playground in Mundimurippu on Frinday (19).

Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake who is also the Colonel of the Regiment, SF on arrival at the venue was received by the Centre Commandant, Colonel Chandimal Peiris. Afterwards, the Commander mingled with All Ranks and joined New Year features and other fun-making features in the arrangement. He also witnessed several traditional New Year traditions and joined a tea table, filled with traditional sweetmeats and milk rice.
