34 Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) who successfully completed the Battalion Support Weapon (BSW) Course No.73 at the Infantry Training Center (ITC), Minneriya received badges during a ceremony, held on Wednesday (11) at the ITC auditorium from Major General T.S Bansajaya, Commandant, ITC.
The BSW course No 73 for SNCOs commenced on 5 January 2018 and ended on Wednesday (11).
Meanwhile, another batch of 21 students received certificates of proficiency after completion of the Platoon Weapon Instructor Course No 8 from the Chief Guest, ITC, Commandant.
To coincide with the New Year spirits, troops at the Infantry Training Centre (ITC) had a New Year tea-table organized at the ITC premises on Wednesday (11) after certificate awarding ceremonies were over.
Major General Bansajaya, Commandant, Infantry Training Centre (ITC), Minneriya graced the event as the Chief Guest. Lighting of the traditional oil lamp signalled the start of the treat.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks serving the ITC attended the New Year celebration.
