20 SLLI Troops Offer Lunch Treat to Students

Troops of the 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment (SLLI) of the 66 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), considering the health of more than 200 students learning at Mukkampan Maha Vidyalaya in Pooneryn, Kilinochchi, offered lunch packets with the cooperation of All Ranks in the 20 SLLI on Sunday (25) during a school cricket match.

The project, a suggestion made by Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana, General Officer Commanding, 66 Division as one of its community-oriented projects, was supported by All Ranks in the 66 Division who volunteered to prepare meals.

The arrangement also was meant to develop reconciliation and harmony among the troops and civil society.
