The newly-constructed Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess at the 663 Infantry Brigade of the 66 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) was declared open by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 66 Division, Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana at the 663 Brigade premises on Sunday (25).
This building consists of a dining hall, kitchen, TV room and accommodation area with all facilities. All Ranks of the Brigade and under command Battalions of the 663 Brigade, contributed to construct this building on the directions of Brigadier Subashana Welikala, Brigade Commander, 663 Brigade.
Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana, GOC, 66 Division, attended the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the building amidst religious observances.
Commanding Officers, Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers were present at the occasion.
