Swiss Diplomat Flies to Jaffna

DEFENCE ATTACHE of Switzerland Embassy in Sri Lanka Brigadier General Paul Kaelin toured Jaffna Tuesday (30) to receive a factual update on ground realities in Jaffna.

Brigadier General Staff (BGS) Security Forces Headquarters, Jaffna (SFHQ-J) Brigadier A.S de Z Wickramaratne received the diplomat on his arrival at Palaly airport. He later on gave the visiting delegate a detailed account of the commitments of the Security Forces and how the troops contribute for restoration of law and order.

Later, he flew to 51 Division in Jaffna town and visited several places including Jaffna Fort and the jetties at Pasivur and Gurunagar.
