VAVUNIYA: IN TWO MORE CONFRONTATIONS that took place on Wednesday (31) in KUDURUVITANKULAM and OLIWATTATAIVU in VAVUNIYA, troops while inflicting damages on LTTE infrastructure decimated at least ten terrorists.
Six terrorists including two female cadres were confirmed killed by the troops during a spate of confrontations occurred in the general area of KUDURUVITANKULAM in VAVUNIYA.
In another confrontation in UMAYARATUVARANKULAM, VAVUNIYA troops gunned down four terrorists and injured at least five more when the terrorists tried to launch attacks on the troops conducting search operations in the area.
