Major General N. Mallawaarachchi, Commander, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Forces paid a visit to the Kok Eliya Commando Training School and its Army camp recently with a view to learning their requirements and necessary developments.
He held several rounds of discussions with Senior Officers at Kok Eliya before he left the premises
Meanwhile, Major General Parami Kulathunge, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni, in an attempt to learn firsthand accounts from his soldiers, recently toured Welioya areas and exchanged views with them.
During the tour, Major General Kulathunga inspected the new Area Headquarters site now under construction at Welioya. He also walked up to the Forward Defence Lines at respective places and spoke to soldiers on duty
