Air Force welcomes Army Commander

Sri Lanka Air Force welcomed the new Army Commander, Lieutenant General S. H. S Kottegoda with a Guard of Honour when he paid a courtesy call on the Air force Commander, Air Vice Marshal Donald Perera this morning, July 21 at Air Force Headquarters in Colombo.

On his arrival, he was accorded a Guard of Honour before he was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Donald Perera to his office where both Service Chiefs exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

Lieutenant General S. H. S Kottegoda to mark his visit to the venue placed his signature in the VIP Visitors' Book before he was introduced to Senior Air Force Officers present on the occasion.

The Air Force Commander presented Lieutenant General S. H. S Kottegoda with a token memento to mark his first formal visit to the Air Force Headquarters as new Commander of the Army.
