APPOINTMENTS - SENIOR OFFICERS

The Commander of the Army has approved the relinquishment of appointments and new appointments of the under mentioned senior officers with effect from 12 June 2004.

1. Brigadier A.M.B. Amunugama KSV - To relinquish the appointment of Colonel Commandant, Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG)

2. Brigadier V.K.B. Weerakoon KSV - To relinquish the appointment of Inspector of Training (IOT) Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and to function as Colonel Commandant, Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG)

3. Colonel A. Weerakoon KSV - To relinquish the appointment of Colonel Coord (Volunteer Matters), Headquarters 11 Division and to function as Officiating Inspector of Training (IOT), Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF)
