TULF leader V. Anandasangaree yesterday urged Indian film authorities to return the master tapes of the film 'Prabhakaran' produced in Sri Lanka by Thushara Peiris.
The Sinhala film revolves round the life and happenings of the LTTE in the Wanni and when it was sent to Chennai Gemini Studios for processing stern objection was raised against the film alleging that it is against the Tamils.
Anandasangaree has appealed to the Indian authorities to release the tapes of the film to its producer and ensure that there is no animosity whatsoever between Sri Lankan film makers and their Indian counterparts.
