KILINOCHCHI: BASED ON INTELLIGENCE information and surveillance reports, Sri Lanka Air Force fighter craft shelled two LTTE military bases in KILINOCHCHI this (27) morning.
A terrorist training centre at KALMADUKULAM, east of IRANAMADU, was attacked causing heavy damages to the camp at about 6.25 a.m..
Ten minutes after the previous attack, Air Force conducted another aerial raid on an LTTE radar system and command base at PALLEPADU, south of YAKTHUDUWA.
Pilots confirmed that both missions were successful.
