JAFFNA: A FIERCE FIRE FIGHT that broke out in MUHAMALE and NAGARKOVIL along the A-9 road this morning (07) around 5.00 a.m. caused death to five Tiger terrorists and one valiant soldier.
The fight started off at the break of the day lasted for about thirty minutes and inflicted injury on about ten terrorists. Reports confirmed an area leader of the terrorist organization was among the dead.
Those clashes that continued for the second consecutive day also saw several more terrorist bunkers smashed as a result of the fighting.
The soldier who made the supreme sacrifice and five injured soldiers were brought to the military hospital in PALALY.
