The Army Inter Regiment Judo Tournament concluded at the Sri Lanka Judo Association Hall on Thursday (17).
Major General Channa Goonetilleke, Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest where 18 teams vied for the championship.
Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) won the overall Championship in the team championship category. Meanwhile, Gajaba Regiment (GR) won the overall and team championships in the novices category.
The Chief Guest congratulated the participants and gave away the trophies to the winners.
Major General R.V. Udawatte, Chairman, Army Judo Committee, together with members of the Army Judo Committee, officers and other ranks witnessed the finals.
