Troops serving the 121 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) recently rose to the occasion and rushed to the Sirigala Hospital premises in Moneragala, affected by gushing gales and removed a large heap of fallen trees and branches.
Collapse of trees on to the roofs of hospital buildings and the parking area four ambulances disrupted the hospital’s smooth operations as debris were lying scattered.
Following a request of the hospital authorities, more than 25 members of the 121 Brigade jumped into action and completely removed the trees and branches and facilitated the normalcy in the premises.
