The newly-constructed Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess and a Billet for Senior NCOs and soldiers at the Forward Maintenance Area (East) (FMA (E)) was opened by Major General M.H.P. Mihindukulasuriya, Commander, FMA (E) on Friday (14).
These buildings, a long-felt need of Senior NCOs and soldiers serving the FMA (E), were constructed under the directions of Commander, FMA (E) and under the supervision of Commanding Officer, 3 Corps of Engineers Services (CES).
Commanding Officers and a large number of officers serving the FMA (E) and other rankers took part in the inaugural ceremonies.
