Troops of the 23 Division Headquarters and all units under command to it had the rare chance of listening to a lecture on ‘Violence Against Women & Children’ on Saturday (1) at the Central College, Welikanda.
Organized on the directions of Major General D.D.U.K. Hettiarachchi, General Officer Commanding, 23 Division, Inspector of Police (IP) Manoj Weerasinghe of Women’s & Child Bureau of Colombo, delivered the lecture on the subject.
Around 360 Army Personnel from 23 Division Headquarters and 6 Gajaba Regiment (GR) attentively took part in the arrangement and interacted with the lecturer towards the end of the event.
