Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) held their Officers’ Training Day on Wednesday (8) at SLLI Regimental Headquarters (RHQ) as per the directives of Major General Amal Karunasekara, Colonel of the Regiment, SLLI.
The Training Day commenced with Physical Training and Drill sessions. Afterwards, Mr. Rukmal De Silva, lecturer of the kothalawela Defence University (KDU) conducted a lecture on “leadership and behavior of the military officer” at the SLLI-RHQ auditorium. Meanwhile, Dr. Nirmali Sirisoma enlightened officers on “How to build a successful academic path”.
In the meantime, Lieutenant Colonel S.C Karunarathne (retd) also conducted a very valuable lecture about the Importance of life.
The day’s proceedings culminated with a get together at Officers’ Mess, RHQ SLLI with the participation of more than 140 officers.
