The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan Army, General Raheel Sharif, NI (M) Monday (8) met Mr. Ruwan Wijewardene, State Minister of Defence and Mr. B.M.U.D Basnayake Secretary to the Ministry of Defence at the MoD office.
The visiting COAS of Pakistan had a brief discussion with Mr. Ruwan Wijewardene and Mr. B.M.U.D Basnayake on matters of international importance and strategic relevance.
The discussions culminated with exchange of mementos between State Minister of Defence and COAS of Pakistan.
Moreover, Secretary of Defence also exchanged mementoes with (COAS) of Pakistan at the end of their formal discussion.
