The Non commissioned Officers Training School (NCOTS) at Kalaoya, Saliyawewa marked Vesak festival with a series of religious activities during 28 April – 03 May.
A Shramadana Campaign was first conducted with the assistance of Officers and Other Rankers of NCOTS at Sri Vijayarama Temple on 28 April as the first project.
A Dhamma Sermon & Discussion was held at the Training School Auditorium with the participation of Officers and Other Rankers of NCOTS. Ven. Chandranimala & Ven. Nimalarathana Theros of Anuradhapura ‘Mahamevna Asapuwa’ conducted the Dhamma programmes on May (3).
Meanwhile, A Bodhi Pooja was organized at the training school premises on 03 May to invoke blessings for the officers and other rankers.
On the same day, an Osu paen Dansela was held in front of the training school. Elaborate Vesak Lanterns and Decorations were exhibited in front of the Training School.
