Sri Lanka’s Alcohol and Drug Information Centre (ADIC) in keeping with the World’s Health Day, organized an awareness programme on cigarettes and alcohol for a gathering of more than 500 tri-service and Police personnel of all ranks serving the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).
Those two informative and lengthy lectures at Harmony Centre were conducted by Mr Sampath Seram, Director, ADIC workshops and Mr Indika, Project Officer at the invitation of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN.
The project, aimed at educating all service and Police personnel on the dangers of use of alcohol was supported by the Project Officer for Health at the Harmony Centre. General Officer Commanding, 57 Division attended as the Chief Guest of the programme.
