SFHQ-C Troops Clean Nagapaththini Kovil at Haldummulla on the Eve of 'Thaipongal'

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) organized a two-day ‘Shramadana’ campaign to clean the surroundings at Nagapaththini Kovil, Haldummulla, Beragala on the instructions of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C on Monday and Tuesday (13 and 14) on the eve of ‘Thaipongal’ ceremony on Thursday (15).

More than 50 Army Personnel actively participated in the ‘Shramadana’ Campaign together with members of the general public in the area enthusiastically.

The people living in area appreciated the commitment and dedication of the Army. It also promotes the co-operation and understanding that prevails between the Army and civilians in the area.
