11 Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops under the 651 Brigade of the 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) donated 25 chicks and a cage, worth about Rs. 12,000.00 to Mrs. Sivanada Murthi Jayanandana, a widow, resident in Mulankavil with eight kids on Monday (12).
The donation was meant to assist the widow and encourage her to indulge in a self-employment.
With the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, Brigade Commander, 651 Brigade, Commanding officer of 11 GR and other ranks organized the donation.
