Kilinochchi-based troops organized the distribution of school items among 200 school students at Dharmapuram, provided by Prof. Kshanika Hirimburegama, Chairperson, University Grants Commission and Ms Nisansala Vidanapathirana, Senior Lecturer, University of Colombo on Sunday (4).
Troops of 17 Gajaba Regiment (GR) under the 571 Brigade of the 57 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) organized the event and the participation of the students was coordinated by 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 16 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops serving the area.
Commanding Officer, 17 GR, teachers and students attended the occasion.
