Troops of all the Brigades and Divisions under the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) conducted a cattle distribution programme for widows in Mullaittivu area as another community development programme under the supervision of Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ-MLT on Saturday and Monday (3 and 5).
During the programmes, 43 cattle saved from slaughter houses were distributed under the patronage of the philanthropist Mr Vidura Ranasinghe who purchased those cattle for distribution.
