Prednal Hall in Manmunai North in the 231 Brigade area of the 23 Division became packed on Monday (15) when Burgher community and Army personnel of Christian faith joined hands together to witness a Christmas concert, organized by 12 Gajaba Regiment troops in Batticaloa.
A large gathering of school children who attended the concert were also provided with school amenities as Christmas incentives.
Meanwhile, 8 Sri Lanka National Guard troops of the 232 Brigade of the 23 Division offered their assistance for the conduct of a special Holy Mass at Koralaipattu Roman Catholic Church on account of the forthcoming Christmas season.
12 Gajaba Regiment and 8 Sri Lanka National Guard officers and other ranks took part in both arrangements of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E).
