'Laksenpaya' Home Garden in Kandy Selected the Best in City Limits

The farm garden of the Commander’s official residence ‘Laksenpaya’ premises in Kandy was selected as the best garden farm in the town precincts of Kandy in a competition, conducted jointly  by the Governor’s Office of the Central Province, Agricultural Ministry of the Central Province and the Agricultural Department of the  Central Province on Monday (15).

A special trophy plus a certificate was awarded in appreciation of the achievement by the Governor of the Central Province, Hon. Tikiri Kobbekaduwa during a meeting at the Agriculture Department in Gannoruwe. General Officer Commanding , 11 Division accepted the awards on behalf of the Army.
